Chris Isaak is probably the definition of a curiosity for me, as I really only know two things about him. First is that famous music video of his (remember that?), and then there's David Lynch's rather conspicuous obsession with him.

So I know next to nothing about him . . . but that's what allmusic.com is for. . . which informs me that the only thing Chris Isaak has released in the last six years is a Christmas album, which is probably why the Edmonton Folk Fest can afford him.

Strangely, I'm looking forward to this almost as much as I'm curious to hear the faint echoes of Broken Social Scene drifting off the main stage while I'm working.
