The Shivers - Beauty

This song was posted by Chris at Gorilla vs. Bear earlier this year, but other than that I have yet to hear anything about this band. From what I understand, the Shivers are the work of singer/songwriter Keith Zarriello and a few other musicians. My attempts at uncovering something though a Google search proved relatively fruitless. There are a couple of reviews of his album, Charades, on the net that make Zarriello out to be some sort of asexual performance artist, though I'm not sure about the accuracy of these claims. This, coupled with the fact that the webpage for Charades contains no information other than an exclamation that "9/11 was an inside job!", has left me with an odd perception of him, indeed.

I'm truly at a loss for words to describe "Beauty". The photo I've posted, I think, does a better job than I ever could in expressing my feelings about this song. There's something sad, but also glorious, and celebratory, in the song's final refrain: "Beauty, beauty, beauty! There's nobody near me; there never was."
